About

My fitness philosophy is simple: I believe that you should be able to live well, be pain free and be able to do all of the things you want to do in life. For some of my clients, this could mean being able to climb a flight of stairs without trouble; for others this could mean climbing a mountain.

In May 2012 my whole view on training completely changed. I took the Stretch to Win Level 1 course.  I had always been troubled by stretching. Sometimes it seemed beneficial, sometimes it seemed it was causing harm.  Some clients loved it, some clients put up with it. I figured it was me, not them. So for years I didn't stretch my clients. Then two colleagues steered me towards a new path. I was introduced to the book Anatomy Trains by Tom Myers and I was told about an upcoming Stretch to Win course in Toronto. Everything changed. I am now a level II stretch therapist and spend my days alleviating desk back and helping marathoners and triathletes recover from their weekends.

I love it.

Before joining the fitness industry, I was an accomplished wilderness guide with an extensive knowledge of backwoods Ontario and the beautiful rivers of Quebec. I am experienced in individual and group facilitation, youth behavior management, outdoor teaching, safety management, and wilderness travel.
