Omega-3s: Cause for Concern for Older Men?

Omega-3s have been touted as having an extremely important role in heart health and in reducing inflammation. I've recommended them to my clients and use them myself, not only to ensure my future health but in particular to combat joint inflammation while I pursue my Fitter by 40 goals.  While I am not going to stop supplementing with fish oil (a great source of Omega-3s), I am keeping careful watch on them as a new study raises concerns over a possible link to increased prostate cancer in men over the age of 55. A great summary of this newly released study is on The Globe and Mail.
