Today was cardio day. I do High Intensity Training, or HIT, interval training. Specifically, I'm using a system I got from Dr. Mercola at mercola.com called Peak 8 training. The goal is to get your heartrate as high as you can for 30 seconds at a time then recover for 90 seconds. Repeat 8 times - hence Peak 8.
By the 4th interval my heartrate was getting to 165bpm. This is 91% max for a 39 year old man. I feel great for it. It's the best way to focus the mind.
I ran on the treadmill at 3% incline and 11.1mph. Now I wait and see if my ankle holds up.
